Reminder: No School on Monday, September 3 – Labor Day

Back to School Night

Thank you to all the families who attended Back to School Night. We had a really great turnout. PTO would also like to appreciate parents/guardians for signing up and supporting our PTO and the wonderful programs here at Dunham. Keep an eye out for ways you can get involved at our school. Congratulations to Kristen Larsen, the winner of the Dunham Dragon parking spot for the month on September!

Drop Off and Pick Up

In the morning, if you plan to drop off your child, please use the yellow drop off zone at the front of school. The main parking lot should be used if you intend to exit your car and walk your child onto campus.

Walk-A-Thon Message from PTO

Hello Dunham Parents!

It is that time of year again. The annual Dunham School Walk-a-Thon! This year’s theme is “Trolls, Let Your True Colors Sparkle and Shine!”

The walk-a-thon is one of our biggest fundraisers for school programs such as drama, outdoor education, and music. So to help with the cost of the walk-a-thon we are looking for sponsors. If your business, or a company you know, would like to donate $100 or more, and have their company’s name featured on the back of the walk-a-thon t-shirt, that every student and staff member receives. Donations and paperwork need to be received by September 13. Please contact Trisha Hubacker at trishahubacker@hotmail.com for the form and/or questions. Thank you very much for your support!

Dunham School Walk-a-Thon Coordinator

Enrichment Classes

This week we will be starting our weekly music and garden classes. Music will occur on every week throughout the school year on Wednesdays. Students will learn about music and sing a variety of songs culminating in our annual Pasta Feed performances. Garden classes are in the fall and spring. On your child’s garden day, we encourage you to send your child to school in clothes that he/she can get dirty in. An awesome part about our school environment is that it provides a lot of opportunities for hands on learning. We encourage kids to explore and investigate when they are in the garden and/or pumpkin patch. Please note your child’s garden day – K, 4, 5, and 6 are on Thursday afternoons and TK, 1, 2, and 3 are on Friday afternoons.
