Dunham Daycare Closed
Friday, December 21 is a minimum day for students with all students being dismissed at 11:45. Our Dunham Daycare will be CLOSED that day.
NED Assembly – Growth Mindset
On December 10 we will be having a growth mindset assembly. The focus of the assembly aligns perfectly with our school’s growth mindset focus and includes messages about:
-Never Give Up – to understand the Power of Yet
-Encourage Others – to spark courage in other people
-Do their personal best – to always be learning and growing
This assembly is being brought to us for free because we are using the ‘pay it forward’ model, meaning that the yo-yos they use during the show will be available for sale for a week following the assembly (see the Friday Folder flier for more information).
All parents are welcome to attend.
Spirit Day
This Wednesday is a Dunham spirit day. Encourage you child to wear his/her pajamas to show their school spirit.
Toolbox – Personal Space Tool
Over the next few weeks, our Toolbox focus will be the personal space tool. Students will be learning the concept that, “I have the right to my own space and so do you.”
Growth Mindset Focus
The growth mindset phrase we will be talking to students about is, “I focus on my own results.” The goal of learning is personal progress and growth.
Giving Hearts
Thank you to all the families who have already picked up a giving heart. If you’re interested in helping making the holidays brighter for a Sonoma County child, please swing in the office and pick up a heart. Please bring the wrapped gift back by Wednesday, December 19.
