Oktoberfest is tonight, Friday, October 26 from 5:30 – 8:30. We hope you and your family can make it! A few reminders – dinner is a potluck, please bring drinks for your family (water is provided), chairs/blankets for the outdoor movie, and a pumpkin to decorate/carve. It is going to be a FUN night!
Parent Conferences
Parent Conferences are coming up from November 13 – 16. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet with your child’s teacher to discuss how he/she is doing in class. 1st Trimester Report Cards will also be given to you at your conference.
Similar to previous years, we are using an online sign up system to schedule conferences. Each conference will be 20 minutes with 5 minutes in between conferences. Your child’s teacher will notify you regarding your child’s participation in the conference. Please use the following link to sign up for a conference time:

- Costumes that depict students as victims of violence
- Blood or gore

Toolbox
Over the next few weeks our focus Toolbox tool will be the listening tool. We will talk to our students about listening with their ears, eyes, and heart.
Growth Mindset Phrase
The growth mindset focus will be “I am on the right track.” Everyday students use their listening tool to follow directions and receive feedback. The listening tool also helps them to make sure they are doing the right thing in their interactions with others.
