I started teaching at Dunham in 2002. I have taught the second through sixth grades. I grew up in Sonoma County and earned my Bachelor’s degree in biology and my teaching credential from Sonoma State University. I think it’s important to get students to interact with real-life activities and projects and spend time outdoors.
My family and I enjoy hiking, camping, bird watching, and playing Uno when I’m not at school. I’ve also been known to do a bit of knitting, gardening, reading, and painting for fun.

Our small size affords us the ability to know every family and child on a personal level: their likes, their learning styles, and their dreams. With only one class per grade level, our kids feel a real sense of family and stability as they grow up together.
