The Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) is part of the state law governing school funding, know as the Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF). Under the law, each school district and charter school develops a spending plan through a process of community involvement. At Dunham, the sources of community input comes from parent & student surveys as well as the School Site Council. Development of the LCAP also includes an LCAP aligned survey, school board discussion, and possible other parents meetings.
Our small size affords us the ability to know every family and child on a personal level: their likes, their learning styles, and their dreams. With only one class per grade level, our kids feel a real sense of family and stability as they grow up together.
