Toolbox: Taking Time Tool
Over the next few weeks, we will be focusing on the taking time tool. This tool encourages kids to take time-in and reflect to build self-understanding and empathy for others. It also teaches kids that it’s okay to time-away to breath and gain perspective.
Growth Mindset Focus
Our growth mindset focus is “this might take time and effort.” Every day we make choices about how to spend our time. Acknowledging the time and effort that certain tasks and goals will take is a smart way to achieve success.
Parent/Student Information Meeting
5th and 6th grades at Dunham hold many exciting events/activities. Parents of current 4th and 5th graders are invited to come to an informational meeting about what they can expect for next year. Two meetings, with the same content, will be held on Wednesday, February 27 from 1:45 – 2:30 and Thursday, February 28 from 5:30 – 6:15.
Fire Drill Practice
At Dunham we routinely practice safety drills. On Monday, we will be having our local fire department, Gold Ridge, come and provide feedback on our fire drill procedures.
Intent to Continue
We are so excited to have received so many intent to continue forms. If you haven’t let us know about whether your child will continue at Dunham next year, please swing by the office and let us know.
