Toolbox: Using Our Words
For the next few weeks our focus tool will be using our words. During this time, students will be learning “I use the “right” words in the “right” way. We encourage kids to express their thoughts and feelings and to use words to problem solve.
Growth Mindset
The growth mindset phrase we’re focusing on is, “I ask for help when I need it.” In alignment with the using our words tool, we want kids to be able to communicate when they need additional support. Self advocacy is an important life skill that supports all kids in being successful.
Accepting Applications
Do you know any great families and kids who are looking for an awesome school? Dunham is now accepting applications for all grades for 19-20. Help spread the word about our amazing school/district!
Crab Feed
Every year our Dunham PTO puts on an amazing and fun evening event–the Crab Feed! Tickets are $55 and include all you can eat crab, pasta, salad, and bread. There is also a silent auction with lots of great items to bid on. This year the Crab Feed will be on Saturday, January 26.
