Dear Dunham Families,
The first week of school has been completed. Staff was so happy to get to see the smiling faces of our Dunham students. It was a very unique first week of school with technical difficulties, but we are nonetheless excited to get the school year moving forward. We know that sometimes devices and internet connection can be frustrating. We appreciate everyone’s patience as we all deal with and work through these new types of challenges for both the school and the home. It was a wonderful first week and we look forward to our second week. Staff, parents and students, you are doing a beautiful job with all of this. We can do this together.

Materials Pick-up / Drop-off
On Wednesday, September 2, we will start our weekly materials pick-up and drop-off. This will take place every Wednesday from 2:00-7:00 PM. Tables with the materials will be located in the larger part of the parking lot. The same general area as last week’s material pick-up. Tables will be marked by grades. Drop-off boxes will be by class. When exiting your vehicle please make sure you and anyone with you is wearing a mask (school age and up). Please park in a designated parking spot and don’t block the driving lane.
Please return the forms that were sent out last week. The sooner we can get those back the better. We appreciate your help with this.
Back to School Nights
Back to School Nights have gotten underway. Second Grade had a wonderful Back to School Night via Zoom yesterday. The rest of classes will be having Back to School Nights throughout next week. These evenings are great opportunities to meet the teacher and gain a better understanding of your child’s class.
During distance learning, we will be offering “Grab and Go” lunches. Students will need to give their name to receive the meal and each meal will be charged to the student’s account. Families are encouraged to complete a Free and Reduced Meal application as soon as possible (attachment below). Full price lunches are $4.50 with milk included (if desired). Lunches will have to be pre ordered the week prior. A weekly survey is sent out on Wednesdays to let us know if you are interested in participating in our lunch program. The deadline for signing up for lunch is Friday at 1:00pm of each week. This is a weekly process. Lunch pick up will be every Monday from 12:00pm-1:00pm. Please see the attached lunch menu below. Lunches will be served in a drive-by or walk-up method in front of the Community Room. Every adult and school age student must be wearing a mask.
